In Basic Facts Boot Camp we have made flashcards for the basic facts we each need to know. We made these on quizlet.com. Some people did doubles an 2 times tables and other people did their 7s and 8s they don't know. An example is in the first column you do the question then in the second column you do the answer. For a double you can do 7 + 7 = 14 and do the same thing with a 2 in front of the first 7 like this for the times table - 2 x 7 = 14 and it also has the same answer as before.
Quizlet is useful because you can create you own flashcards, personalise them for yourself and then you can practice them both as a flash card game and one where you have to drag the questions and answer on to each other to make them pop.
There are other study modes as well. We find it is best to select "Term First" with flashcards then you click "Click to flip" to flip the cards and the arrow to move onto the next card. Our teacher can then embed these on our class page and we can both practice our own ones and ones other people have made.
We may use them to help with our Spanish vocabulary as well. What other uses can you think of? Hope you have fun.
