  2. Hello 8c

We are from nexus international school Singapore and i'm in grade 4.
I was really intrested about your science experiments and the pictures of what you created. I have not had much expirience with colourful experoments but I did do one wich was turning a lettuce leaf Red , Blue and green. One of my passions is science and creating things and looks like you guys are awesome at experiments.

It's really cool that you can turn acid in all sorts of colours. Our teacher ms. stephanie introduced us to makey makey experiments and everybody loved it . Here at nexus we have a huge science lab but we aren't aloud to use it.

How were you inspired to do that particular experiment ?

    1. Hi Ryan,
I love commenting on other peoples blogs too!
      We used three different acids.
      One was called copper acid.
I don't remember the rest sorry.
But they changed colours when we sprayed the acid in the fire.
This was because the fire reacts to the acid.
      It was VERY cool.
      The colours where amazing!
We stayed safe by wearing safety glasses and also just being VERY careful!

      Thanks

  4. Hi I'm Ralph
I'm from Nexus International School in Singapore. It is really cool that you get to play acids to make all sorts of different coloured liquids. Were the acids strong or quite weak? Did you use citric acid?

The flame test sounded really cool. What kind of elements did you put on the flame?
