Every Wednesday a group of girls from Year 7 & 8 go to the library to do an amazing reading programme called FPS. “What is FPS?” you may ask…FPS stands for Future Problem Solving. It is an international reading programme made for children who love to read and write! When we do FPS we get given a futuristic problem that we need to solve using our creative minds. My absolute favourite part is coming up with all the solutions as quite often you’ll get some crazy futuristic ideas and that’s what I love!
Every term we get a new future scene with a topic. This term’s topic is ‘Animal Treatment’. We have had a wide range of topics from processed meat to people living in slums. FPS is pretty much highlighting the problems in our world and healing them!
