Moka's Visit from Japan

This week we have had a Japanese student in our class, Her name is Moka and she goes to Kamishi junior High school.  She came with Aika and Nigisha who spent time in 8PR.

The visit was a bridge programme allowing the girls to stay in the boarding house and experience New Zealand School life. They also got to see how Christchurch is recovering after the 2011 earthquake as Kamishi was badly affected by the 2011 Japan tsunami.

In school Moka learns Japanese, Maths, History, Music, P.E, Science, Art and Economics.

Moka also said that the weather in New Zealand was warmer than in Japan.
